Omaha, NE April 1, 2004— In the
February 2004 issue of the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research
(Effect of two and
five days of creatine loading on anaerobic working capacity in women.J Strength
Cond Res. 2004 Feb;18(1):168-73.), scientists reported that 5 days of
creatine supplementation with FSI Nutrition’s patented effervescent delivery
system significantly improved exercise performance without weight gain in young
physically fit women. “This is a
significant finding,” says Dr. Stout, an Exercise Physiologist. “The weight gain that usually occurs with
creatine supplementation can sometimes offset the gains in performance. However, when an athlete can improve exercise
performance without weight gain then that may translate into better athletic
performance on the field or court.”
“The applications and impact of this patented creatine delivery system (U.S. Pat. No. 5,925,378) are still not fully known,” says Joe Carnazzo, R.Ph., VP of Research and Development for FSI Nutrition. “However, with superior bioavailability, this technology has been adopted by some of the top performance athletes in the world. The addition of this recently published study will no doubt further the demand for this patented technology.”
“The superior science behind this technology is really the difference here. By presenting the body with a buffered, pre-ionized creatine molecule, you not only get the full benefits of the dosage, but you rid the body of unwanted water weight gain and other side effects that are so commonly reported in published research of creatine monohydrate powders.”
FSI Nutrition is the sole patent holder of U.S. Patent Number 5,925,378, and is the only manufacturer granted permission to produce products utilizing its technology.
