In 1995, brothers
Mike and Joe Carnazzo introduced a new concept to the Dietary Supplement
industry with the introduction of Fortress System, L.L.C. In a small office
space and warehouse, Mike and Joe utilized over 30 years in the healthcare
industry to begin reshaping the industry with a combination of innovative
thinking and strong moral ethics.
With just three employees, FSI made an immediate impact on an industry that had been dominated by just a few major players. FSI's invention of effervescent creatine in 1996 shook the industry, as it became evident that this patented formula would take over the ever-popular creatine segment of the dietary supplement market.
With science, innovation and continued research, FSI was established to bring to the industry a set of standards that had not been seen before 1995. A consumer-first approach was implemented, which was clearly evident as FSI became the first company in the industry to use lot numbers on all products to ensure high quality.
